TMZ has reported that during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, CM Punk faced a second accusation by a fan. According to the news site, at approximately 12:31 a.m. on April 20, inside the MGM Grand Hotel, a fan dialed 911 claiming the WWE star shoved him in the chest and delivered a chop after he requested an autograph. The caller described Punk as red-faced and visibly angry, but it’s understood that after law enforcement investigated, no report was filed.
“So I was here waiting for the WWE superstars, and I was trying to get a picture and maybe an autograph from them. When I got close, the star CM Punk pushes me and chops me from my chest … His face was red, and his eyesight was full of anger.” – 911 Call via TMZ
Earlier that same night, Punk was caught on video slapping a fan’s phone out of the fan’s hand while they attempted to film Bayley hugging AJ Lee. Witnesses reported that Bayley had asked the fan to stop, but he continued recording. Security and Ace Steel quickly intervened to prevent further escalation, and the fan later stated he only wanted an apology from Punk rather than pursuing legal action. However, it is unknown whether Punk fulfilled that request.
