Former WWE star Tatanka is beaming with pride after his sons, Joseph and Jeremiah Chavis, secured a high-profile tryout with WWE during SummerSlam weekend. Taking to Instagram, he revealed the brothers have been training at the prestigious Dungeon 2.0, with Joseph, a standout football player and state powerlifting runner-up, joining his younger brother Jeremiah, who is still in 10th grade but has already won a state championship and three national wrestling titles.

Joseph after only 40 sessions has try-outs already at WWE SUMMERSLAM and Jeremiah just finished 10th grade and is a State Champion and Three-Time National Champion in amateur wrestling already!” – Tatanka
Born Christopher Chavis in Pembroke, North Carolina, Tatanka is a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe and debuted in the business in 1990 after training at Larry Sharpe’s Monster Factory. From there, he signed with WWE and entered the ring as an iconic Native American warrior. Known for a nearly two-year undefeated streak, he memorably feuded with high-profile names including Shawn Michaels, Lex Luger, and Bam Bam Bigelow. And while he remains connected to the company today through a Legends contract, Tatanka likely hopes his true legacy will live on via Joseph and Jeremiah.
