The big question is, will Paul Heyman be receiving a cut of the profits? WWE has been teasing a mystery woman on SmackDown, and it wasn’t known if it was someone making their debut or a return. That was until eagle-eyed fans on social media recognized a tattoo that appeared briefly on the women in the videos matched that of Carmella’s. The below photo verifies this.

WWE went to the effort to cover Carmella’s feet tattoos to ensure her identity stayed hidden but overlooked the tattoo on her bicep. You can watch the latest video containing the exposed tattoo below.

Carmella last competed in May for WWE in the RAW Women’s Championship Money In The Bank Ladder Match, which Asuka won. Seemingly she will now be back with a renewed push.
The former Rusev made his AEW debut this past Wednesday on Dynamite as Kip Sabian’s best man for his upcoming wedding with Penelope Ford. Now going by Miro, he’d use the opportunity to shoot on WWE by telling them to “take your brass ring and shove it up your a**.”
Often when AEW brings in new talent, they will sign a short term deal, even an ex-WWE wrestler like Matt Cardona only initially signed for five dates. It has, though, been confirmed that in Miro’s case, he has signed a multi-year contract. He is also permitted to take indie bookings and wrestle on shows as long as they are not televised. Most significantly, he can also wrestle for New Japan, which is big money making perk reserved for top stars such as Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley. His AEW dates will always be the priority, so it’s unlikely he’ll work tours, just big weekend shows.
This type of deal shows how highly AEW thinks of Miro’s, and how much they wanted him to sign. He has already helped prove his worth by aiding AEW in delivering its highest viewership in 2020.
Current Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy created the character Willow The Wisp in 1995 when he was in part of his brother Matt’s promotion OMEGA. His dark and mysterious alter-ego would speak in riddles and took its name from the name given in folklore to lights said to appear to travelers at night over bogs, swamps, or marshes. Once he left WWE in 2003, he would bring the character back and used it in Ring of Honor briefly. A decade later, while the enigmatic persona would receive national exposure in TNA.
Now, Jeff Hardy has teased possibly bringing the character to WWE in an interview with BT Sport, and you can watch the excerpt below.

Jeff Hardy is currently busy feuding with Sami Zayn on who is the rightful Intercontinental Champion. Still, a feud between Willow The Wisp and The Fiend in the future would have the potential to capture wrestling fans imaginations.
Following on from the news that Gerald Brisco was released Wednesday evening, we can report that Mike Rotunda has also been let go. He is best known to wrestling fans as Michael Wallstreet or Irwin R. Schyster, depending on if you followed WCW or WWF. He worked as a producer/road agent but was part of the group of personnel furloughed on April 15, 2020. This came as a surprise considering both his sons Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas are currently on the WWE roster. He also had a reputation of someone Vince McMahon was very fond of, but neither of those factors saved his job.
Rotunda had been with WWE for 14 years, joining the company in 2006 in a backstage role. He occasionally made television appearances under his IRS gimmick and wrestled his final match in 2007 as part of the 15th Anniversary Battle Royal. He’d seemingly won the match by eliminating Sgt. Slaughter, but would climb over the top rope after taking a payoff from Ted DiBiase, handing him the victory.
Many experts predicted Dynamite to do well since it didn’t have competition from NXT, and AEW was coming off this past weekend’s All Out pay-per-view, and thankfully for TNT, they were correct. The show had 1.016 million average viewers watching on TNT, up 9.5% percent from last week, and was Dynamite’s third-highest ever rating. In the crucial 18-49 demo, the show had a 0.37 rating, the highest since January 15.
Putting those numbers into perspective, the Tuesday night NXT episode built around Finn Balor and Adam Cole competing for the vacant NXT championship did 838,000 average viewers and a 0.22 rating in the demo.
Next’s week’s Dynamite will almost certainly see a ratings drop due to the uncertainty of when it will air. If the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets NBA playoff series ends on Monday, then Dynamite will be in it’s usual Wednesday night slot. If though the series goes to game seven, then Dynamite will air on Thursday.
It should be noted that if the regular episode of Dynamite does move to Thursday, a special one edition that is being taped today will still air on Wednesday, but only once the playoff game finishes.
Earlier today, Gerald Brisco took to Twitter to share the news that on Wednesday evening, he receiving a call from Vince McMahon telling him he was no longer needed and was being let go. He had been furloughed back in April due to budgetary cuts from his role as a talent scout, with collegiate wrestlers his specialty.
Gerald Brisco had been with WWE since 1984 after selling his shares in Georgia Championship Wrestling to Vince McMahon. After a short run challenging for the WWF World Tag Team Championships with his elder brother Jack he retired in 1985 to work in the office and as a road agent. He is credited with discovering Brock Lesnar and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008 alongside his brother in 2008.
Fans were disappointed after Rusev, now going by the name Miro, didn’t appear as a mystery entrant in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view this past Saturday. Now though, fans of AEW are rejoicing as The Bulgarian Brute has made his debut for the company on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.
He’d be revealed as the best man for the upcoming kayfabe wedding between Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford, and appears to be using the nickname “The Best Man.” You can watch Kip Sabian introducing him below.

Upon entering the ring, Miro would cut a passionate promo where he took a shot at his former employer for the lack of opportunities avalaible.
Rusev hasn’t wrestled since February this year when he teamed with Humberto Carrillo in a losing effort against Angel Garza and Bobby Lashley on Raw. He was then part of the mass releases on April 15th that WWE made due to budget cuts. He would go on to jokingly declare he had retired from wrestling and was instead a professional Twitch streamer.
It wasn’t a secret within wrestling, but Impact Wrestling’s Crazzy Steve has just started advertising that he is legally blind, even adding it to his Twitter bio. He’d discuss this when he was the guest on the latest episode of Tommy Dreamer’s House Of Hardcore Podcast.
I’m blind. I was born totally blind. At a young age, I found out I had cataracts. When I was born, I was 2 pounds and had to be put in an incubator. They removed the cataracts at a young age so I was able to somewhat see. I always had giant glasses. I can’t drive. I also have glaucoma. As I get older, my eyes continue to get worse.
Crazzy Steve
Being a nearly blind wrestler is certainly unique, and the fact it has never shown in his ring work is to be commended. After a decade on Canadian independents, Steve would hit the big time joining TNA, where he’d become a World Tag Team Champion with Abyss. He’d go on to have a tryout with WWE after departing TNA but wasn’t signed, and following another indie run has returned to Impact Wrestling in April.
Both Rusev and Ryback piled on Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter this week. Rusev said he was a liar and hellbound, and Ryback said the world would be better off if the reporter died. They were strong and controversial words from the former WWE wrestlers, and now Jim Cornette has surprisingly come out in defense of the reporter during the latest edition of his podcast, the Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru.
The reason Cornette standing up for Meltzer wasn’t to be expected because the pair are no longer buddies after falling out over differing opinions of AEW and Meltzer comparing the Midnight Express to The Young Bucks, which to Cornette is abhorrent. He’d first take aim at Rusev and then Ryback, deriding them both for only working the WWE system and saying Meltzer knows more about the wrestling business than the pair combined.
Rusev or the other f*cking guy they’re just lucky anyone’s talking about them. Let’s face it, what the f*ck? We’re not talking about Bruno Sammartino or Buddy Rogers.
Dave Meltzer knows more about the wrestling business than both these guys put together when his in a comaCornette on both
Meltzer has yet to comment on the wrestler’s attempts to discredit him, but will surely be pleased Cornette stood up for him despite their animosity towards each other. Perhaps this will eventually lead to a reconciliation of old friends.
Third-generation wrestler Tessa Blanchard hasn’t wrestled since March due to residing in Mexico with husband Daga and deciding not to travel to the US due to global events. This, along with her failure to send in videos to air on television, resulted in Impact Wrestling stripping her of the Impact World Championship and releasing her early from her contract. She’d go on to burn that bridge after requesting Impact pay her $150,000 to return the physical belt.
She has now decided to end her hiatus, and return to the United States to compete for independent company Warrior Wrestling this Saturday. She will be defending the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship against Kylie Rae in the main event of their first Stadium Series event on FITE. Also booked for the show are Brian Cage, Joey Janela, Thunder Rosa, Chris Bey, and her husband, Daga.
In August, Marty Jannetty created a ton of controversy after sharing on Facebook that he had made a man disappear when he was 13. It went viral and was picked up by media outlets around the world. The Columbus Police Department in Georgia was even investigating it as a cold case. Now though, Jannetty has posted a follow-up on Facebook claiming he made up the murder as part of an indie wrestling storyline.
The story did always sound far fetched, and Jannetty has made outrageous claims on social media in the past. You can read Jannetty’s full explanation for making it up below.
It was just the beginning of a damn wrestling storyline..but OH MY GOD, OMG.. Didn’t the WORLD buy it??!! I never knew it could be that easy..I mean, INSIDE EDITION(whom Im a fan of even though they slant/favor democrat), PEOPLE MAGAZINE, TMZ, FOX NEWS, that fake ass National Inquirer,..and ALL MAJOR NEWS OUTLETS WORLD WIDE jumped on this story..it got so hot I had to drop it..when my Columbus, Ga. Police Department got involved, I knew I had to drop it…or as my bruh Snoop Dogg says “drop it like its hot, drop it like its hot” lol..loves ya Snoopy..
I even got pulled outta line at the Atlanta airport headed to Boston..my TSA security brothers mostly laughing and getting autographs n pics kept saying, “we sorry yo, we have to, you’re red flagged, you’ll be fine though, we gotcha back brother” and they did. Thank y’all my brothers!!
I got calls, texts, messages from Germany, Japan, Australia, England, France, Scotland, Ireland, Africa, Israel and 1 call from Canada..I was like, “WTF is happening right now, holy s–t, I didn’t even give them the cake yet”..
But..I had to let it go..it got too hot..I mean, I wanted to call the good people at the Columbus Police Department and tell them, “nah nah, don’t waste tax payers money nor your valuable time..it was just a wrestling storyline”..but my brother Geno said, “hell no, lay low” Cause they might wanna make the newspapers..very correct, that’s why along with my dad, he’s my hero..(and my college wrestling coach, Coach Ron Steube) there’s yo 3 wise men
But it all comes down to this>>> yo boy MJNDHOUSE still got it..the creator of the long living(28 years now) Barber Shop Window scene, just shook up the WORLD..again!..and I wasn’t even finished..as Mr T said, “I gotta ho lotta mo” lol..y’all ain’t even seen my 2 piece extra crispy yet..lol..you will
But next to all that, I wanna throw the most sincere heartfelt apologies to my gurrl Winni..the one who got caught up in the trap(and pictured in the original story)..I never knew it would go worldwide miss sweetness..they caught me off too..but Winnie is not a jealous evil woman..I needed that for the story..she’s the sweetest thing since my mother..The girl works her ass off as an actress in Toronto, but hit WORLD WIDE on that sh*t..I sorry Winnie..I never meant to hurt you..I’m just stupid sometimes..
Ya know, now looking back, I shoulda done a few things differently..shoulda called the CPD first, and told them what up..shoulda told Winnie..but that ain’t how I do it..never have, you can ask around, ask Geno, ask my best friend Curtis M. Burris who actually took me to the airport the day of me sneak attacking Shawn Michaels from out the audience and winning the IC Championship, told him I had to go to some Indy show in Vegas..imagine his shock that night watching Monday Night Raw..lol..
But that’s how I do it..maybe old school..BUT IT WORKS, don’t it?? When’s the last time WWE, AEW hell ANY OF THEM grabbed WORLD WIDE NEWS like that?? Let me answer, NEVER!!
Btw, the rest of the storyline was to be..my friend Darren Kelly, who really was a correction officer, and GREAT wrestler, but disgruntled as hell so walked away from that job..he was to redeem himself by serving justice on me to earn back his stripes..but..in a match stipulated with..if he wins, he takes me in, in peace..if I win, he leave me alone, in peace..but sadly now, we’ll not get to do that storyline
Again, sorry Winnie..never meant this s–t to get crazy like this..ya already know I gots mad love for ya..it’s just this CTE acts up and I dont think straight..plus I’m insane in the membrane..
PS- there is some truth in the original story, that’s how you add on and it seems all true..I was 13 buying weed from a gay man(and btw, I loves all my gay people, I just don’t float my boat on that side of the river, loves y’all tho’) in his car in front of the bowling alley we both worked at..and because a couple other of my teen friends went for the hustle(he’d pay them $40 to bj them) he might have assumed I would to, so in other words, the bag of weed for free..he subtly reach over and touched me down there..”and I said, “nah nah, let’s get back to work” we got out and went back to work..and remained friends..he never touch my d*ck & balls again..so we was goodMarty Jannetty
