This was going on for two hours. “I get home, and there was a two-page note where I feel like this man was obviously under the impression he was talking to me and in a relationship with me. He left me this letter pretty much saying that I’m a stalker, not him. It was bizarre. No one was hurt, but I reached out to WWE like, ‘Hey, I just want to let you guys be aware of this.’ They took it seriously—they were like, ‘No, we’re sending this to the FBI … He got arrested the next day, and he’s been in jail for three months. Independent wrestler Syko Stu, a military veteran battling PTSD through pro wrestling, will make a special appearance during WrestleMania week in Las Vegas. KnokX Pro Wrestling has scheduled autograph signings on Thursday and Friday at The Quay Boardwalk at Treasure Island, giving fans the chance to meet Stu in person, snap photos, and hear his firsthand account of the terrifying 2025 attack that nearly ended his life.

On August 23, 2025, at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles, Raja Jackson, the son of UFC legend Rampage Jackson, brutally assaulted Stuart “Syko Stu” Smith. What began as a scripted segment turned very real after a backstage misunderstanding, which later saw Jackson, a trained MMA fighter, enter the ring, slam Smith, and unleash over a dozen hard punches to Smith’s head. Smith suffered devastating injuries, including a fractured maxilla, jaw trauma, lost teeth, and head trauma, spending a week in intensive care. Jackson was arrested in September on felony battery charges, with the case still ongoing.

In a candid new interview with All The Smoke: Unplugged, CM Punk has explained how years of real backstage tension with Triple H finally ended. During his first WWE run, Punk felt that Triple H viewed him as a threat, while Triple H reportedly found him difficult and uncooperative. However, Punk has now disclosed that everything changed when he heard Triple H had a heart condition, and remembered seeing Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior’s emotional reconciliation just days before Warrior’s death. Realizing “this sh*t ain’t worth it,” he reached out to Triple H to bury the hatchet, and ultimately ended up returning to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 after AEW fired him.

“It was because after a while I reached out to Triple H and I knew he had this heart condition thing, and I had seen a clip of Hogan and the Warrior, and everything we do is filmed, what’s real, what’s not, and it’s Hogan, so you don’t know what’s the truth, but they’re having this conversation and kind of apologising and forgiving each other, then a couple of days later the Ultimate Warrior dies, it just made me realise this sh*t ain’t worth it, and I don’t care.” – CM Punk

Hogan and Warrior finally ended nearly 20 years of real-life animosity rooted in creative differences, financial disputes, and public criticism during the WrestleMania 30 weekend in New Orleans. This took place backstage before Warrior’s Hall of Fame induction, when Hogan approached him to clear the air. The two wrestling icons hugged and shook hands, closing a bitter chapter between them. Still, just days later, after a Warrior cut an emotional promo on the new WWE Hall of Famer would tragically pass away from a heart attack at age just 54.

Earlier this week, The Rock & Roll Hall of fame announced its inductees for 2026, and after decades of little to no recognition from the institution, metal icons Iron Maiden are among the artists to be honored later this year. 

Originally there was confusion surrounding which members of the band would actually be included in the induction. Original guitarist Dennis Stratton was among those nominated with the group having only appeared on the band’s debut, yet former singer Blaze Bayley wasn’t originally included despite fronting the band for five years and on two studio efforts. 

Just prior to their 2026 inductees announcement, the Hall updated its nomination list to include Bayley, and now that he’s going in, the former Maiden singer and longtime solo artist couldn’t be happier. 

“It’s crazy, really!” he told Classic Rock Magazine. “When I started out, I just wanted to be like Ronnie James Dio, and Dio is in the Heavy Metal Hall Of Fame and so am I. The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame is another level entirely, it’s not really ‘rock’n’roll’ as we think of it, it’s the music business hall of fame because it has everybody. So it’s absolutely wild!”

Bayley continued: “I’ve had so many messages saying congratulations. It’s a really big deal for a lot of people; for me, I just feel so lucky to be considered in the same breath as some of the other artists on there. Multi-platinum artists! It feels like a real privilege to be nominated.”
