WWE’s Santos Escobar’s Disclosures Surgery Heartbreak

WWE star Santos Escobar has taken to social media to reveal he will undergo a second surgery after complications arose from his March tricep repair. The luchador disclosed that an ulnar nerve issue is affecting arm and finger movement, requiring additional corrective work. This frustrating development has postponed his in-ring comeback and will keep him from attending WrestleMania week festivities.

Hey familia, this is the Emperor of Lucha Libre, Santos Escobar, with a quick update on WrestleMania week. As you probably already know, I went through tricep surgery. There was a minor hiccup on the road with my ulnar nerve, a nerve that runs through my arms, so I’m gonna have to go and do surgery again to repair that situation. Kills me not to be there with you this week, but to all of my WWE family, Happy WrestleMania Week.– Santos Escobar

Born Jorge Luis Alcantar Bolly in Mexico City, Santos Escobar is a proud second-generation luchador, son of legendary masked wrestler El Fantasma and nephew of the late Arkangel de la Muerte. Debuting in 2000 as Top Secret, he later became El Hijo del Fantasma in 2003. From there, he excelled in CMLL, capturing the World Middleweight and Trios titles, before moving to AAA and then WWE, where he formed Legado Del Fantasma to carry forward Mexico’s rich lucha tradition on a global stage.
