Ric Flair has had multiple highly publicized health difficulties over the past decade, with his latest being a battle with cancer. This first became known to fans after his son-in-law Conrad Thompson revealed on X that Flair was undergoing skin cancer treatment, although the two-time world champion did initially deny this.
Still, Flair would later go back on this, telling People he had actually been diagnosed for the “second time in three years,” and was about to commence treatment. And now, in some much-needed positive news, Flair has taken to X to declare in typical Nature Boy style, “I’m now cancer free! WOOOOO!“
76-year-old Flair is currently signed to AEW, having debuted for the company during the October 25, 2023, episode of Dynamite. Yet despite signing a multi-year deal, Tony Khan decided to phase him out after discovering the 16-time world champion was on blood-thinning medication and wisely didn’t want to risk his health.
