Very few people would try to claim Ric Flair is anything but a pro wrestling legend, with his 16 world championship reigns and two WWE Hall of Fame rings proving this. However, he remains controversial thanks to his devil-may-care attitude on social media, which has somewhat tarnished his legacy to some.

And now, after a weekend where he was criticized for calling Jim Ross an “attention seeker” on X, Flair has seemingly announced his departure from the platform. He would do this in typical Nature Boy style, declaring, “This is my last message to everyone,” and bragging he spends more on alcohol in a year than most do in a lifetime.

Flair is currently signed to AEW, although his time with the company has been far from drama-free, with him inviting women aged between 18 and 28 to come to his hotel room during a promo taped for Rampage. Obviously, this was Flair playing up his gimmick, but some viewed this negatively, considering the past allegations of vulgarity made against him. This would, therefore, see Flair take to X and offer to walk away from AEW if he had caused any embarrassment, and while Tony Khan would only use him sparingly after that, he obviously chose not to take up Flair on his offer.
