Raven Says Wrestling & Doing Drugs Are What He’s Really “F*cking Good At” In Trailer For New Documentary

Despite being a big star in the 90s, thanks to his runs in ECW and WCW, in the eyes of many, Raven failed to fulfill his full potential in the wrestling industry. However, his remarkable career is set to be covered in a new documentary titled “Nevermore: The Raven Effect” by NightSchool Films. This was announced by a trailer being released, which shows Billy Corgan, The Sandman, Perry Saturn, Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Lodi, Chris Jericho, and Raven’s wife were all interviewed.

60-year-old Raven broke into the business in 1988 after earning a degree in criminal justice and spending time in the Marine Corps Reserves. From there, he worked under the names Scotty The Body, Scotty Flamingo, and Johnny Polo before totally reinventing himself in ECW as Raven, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s poem. Subsequently, he also wrestled for WWE, WCW, TNA, and ROH under that gimmick, notably winning the United States Championship and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Yet, due to his health, he is semi-retired from the ring, having not run anything close to a full-time schedule since 2012.
