Photograph Of Former WWE Star Jon Heidenreich Working At Walmart Goes Viral

While many fans believe that anyone who has had any level of success in WWE is set up for life, this is far from the case, and many wrestlers go on to hold regular jobs. And now, in another example of this, Walmart employee Wade Stratton has taken to social media to reveal, along with a photograph, that he is now working alongside former WWE wrestler Jon Heidenreich. Subsequently, this photo went viral, and while some mocked Heidenreich’s employment status, most fans were happy to see him gainfully employed and providing for his family.

53-year-old Heidenreich moved from professional football to wrestling in 2001 after training at Ultimate Pro Wrestling. After a brief WWE developmental stint and time in Japan, he re-signed with WWE in 2003, and his imposing presence and a feud with The Undertaker put him on the map. Additionally, he teamed with Road Warrior Animal as the revived Legion of Doom to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships. Yet despite this nostalgia-fueled push, the duo failed to connect with fans, and Heidenreich was released in 2006.
