Perry Saturn has been out of the spotlight for over two decades, and at one time, even his closest friends weren’t aware whether he was dead or alive after a serious drug addiction saw him become homeless for two and a half years. And while it’s understood he is now clean, it’s well-known that he has been struggling health-wise in recent years.
Therefore, in unfortunate, but not totally surprisingly news, considering his hard-hitting in-ring style, Wrestling Organization Online has tweeted a video where the former WWE star comments having just undergone hip replacement surgery on his right side.
58-year-old Saturn, real name Perry Satullo, looked like he had everything needed to be a big star in the business, and while he would work for ECW, WCW, and WWE during his prime, he never fulfilled his potential due to the aforementioned drug issues. Nevertheless, having made his name during a boom period, he is often mentioned when fans discuss wrestlers omitted from the WWE Hall of Fame, with it believed that the fact he was involved in a class action lawsuit against the company in 2016 likely disqualifies him from being inducted.
