Add Oney Lorcan, formerly known as Biff Busick to the list of wrestlers who want out of WWE. The former CZW World Heavyweight Champion and current NXT and 205 Live wrestler requested the release last month but it has still not been granted. He has been with WWE since September 2015 and has most likely grown frustrated in not being called up to the main roster in over 4 years. With Luke Harper, Mike Kanellis, Sin Cara, and ACH also all wanting out of WWE, it seems there is a serious problem within the company that needs to be addressed.

Jim Cornette’s disdain for AEW is well known to anyone who follows him on Twitter or listens to his podcasts. He hates Kenny Omega, he hates The Young Bucks, He hates Joey Janela, he hates Marko Stunt, and now it seems he hates AEW ring announcer Justin Roberts.

During his latest Jim Cornette Experience podcast, he was reviewing AEW’s Full Gear PPV and made the following very unpleasant remark about ring announcer Justin Roberts.

“Justin Roberts looks like he ought to be registered somewhere to be around children. He’s so happy. You see a fucking guy dressed up like that with that big smile coming across his face coming towards your kids, run.”

You can listen below.

The comment is particularly troubling because Justin Roberts was the person who got Connor Michalek involved with WWE after meeting him at the Royal Rumble in January of 2014. For those that are unaware Connor was the young child who tragically died of brain cancer and WWE would start the “Connor’s Cure” charity in his memory.

So while ACH formally known as Jordan Myles quit WWE via a video he posted on Twitter, he actually hasn’t been released as of writing.

That hasn’t stopped him speculating on potential opponents in the future as he has posted a wish list, much in the same manner that Cody Rhodes did when he left WWE.

When he does inevitably get released these matches all have the potential to be fantastic and a number of independent promotions will be lining up to book them because the notoriety ACH now has.

When the Wednesday Night Wars started the gap between Dynamite and NXT was 518,000 viewers, last week WWE had cut it down to just 9,000 so for those who following ratings this was going to be a fascinating week.

Coming off the Full Gear PPV AEW Dynamite increased from 822,000 average viewers to 957,000 average viewers last night. NXT decreased from 813,000 viewers to 750,000.

AEW featured the return of Luchasaurus, Pac defeating Page in a rematch from Full Gear, a segment with MJF with a breakthrough promo, and SCU defeating Jericho and Guevara.

NXT had Keith Lee defeating North American Champion Roderick Strong in a non-title match, Io Shirai defeating Mia Yim in a ladder match to get her team the advantage in War Games, and Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley attacking NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.

We reported last week that The Rock presented the “Baddest MotherFucker” belt to Jorge Masvidal after he controversially defeated Nate Diaz after the doctor ended the UFC contest due to an eye cut.

One fan though wasn’t over the result and commented on an Instagram post by Diaz saying he’d lost his rent money on the fight and was sleeping in his car.

As you can see in the screenshots below, Diaz replied to the fan and followed through with his promise.

It was generous of Diaz to follow through once the fan confessed he hadn’t really been sleeping in his car. Hopefully, this fan has learned his lesson about betting his entire rent money on an MMA fight, no matter how much of a sure thing a bet is (and this match was not a sure thing) upsets regularly happen in the sport.

Jordan Myles, who now wants to go by his old wrestling name ACH has posted a video to Twitter saying he has quit WWE. This follows on from him calling out both Vince McMahon and Triple H over a racist t-shirt that was designed for him. Obviously, the issue wasn’t able to be resolved.

“As of today, I’d like to officially announce that I quit fucking WWE. I am no longer employed, I refuse to work for racists… I fucking quit. Fuck them. I hate that fucking company and everything they fucking stand for. All they ever did was hold our fucking people back. I do this shit for the culture. I don’t need anyone’s fucking permission to do what I want to do. Screw Jordan Myles, don’t ever call me by that slave name. Call me A.C.H and don’t forget the Super, bitch! I quit. Fuck you!”

WWE hasn’t accepted requests to be released from Luke Harper, Mike Kanellis and Sin Cara so we’ll have to see how they react to ACH’s video.

It seems Logan Paul hasn’t finished competing in full-contact sports following his defeat to fellow YouTuber KSI in a closely contested boxing match this past weekend.

He has told TMZ that he wants an MMA fight, and CM Punk is an option. He specifically said:

“I think I would destroy CM Punk if I’m being honest. I don’t know if anyone would disagree with that.”

“I don’t think I could, I know I could. This isn’t about CM Punk anymore, I would wanna fight an MMA fighter, or fight in the UFC, or Bellator.”

It might seem far-fetched that Punk would compete in MMA again since he has just returned to WWE television, and in his last fight against Mike Jackson in 2018, he was comfortably defeated.

That said a fight with Logan Paul would bring in big money and only last month CM Punk was tested by the United States Anti-Doping Agency, a requirement for any fighter who wants to fight within the next six months. It would seem odd for him to stay in the USADA’s testing pool if he had no intention to compete again.

UFC President Dana White has gone on record by stating that while Punk is still under contract with them, he won’t ever fight in the UFC again. White though has gone back on statements like this numerous times in the past.

Betting odds have already been announced as you can see below.

CM Punk opened as a -225 betting favorite. This means betting $225 would win $100. With Paul Logan, he opened as a +175 underdog. This means betting $100 bet would win $175.

A week after it was announced Randy Orton had signed a new contract with WWE, it was confirmed by Ryan Satin on “WWE Backstage” that both The Miz and Paige had signed new deals.

The Miz would later comment on Twitter with the below:

Miz was already under contract until 2022, and at this stage seems like being a WWE lifer having been with the company since 2004.

Paige sadly had to retire from in-ring competition in 2018 but is now part of WWE Backstage. She had been managing Asuka & Kairi Sane but was removed from that position when the duo went heel.

Back in September CM Punk surprisingly auditioned for a role with WWE Backstage. It was at FOX’s studies and arranged after his agent reached out to them. It was assumed nothing came of it as the show debuted without him, but last night he came out to end the show to his “Cult of Personality” theme song.

He said towards the camera, channeling his inner Roddy Piper:

“It’s as simple as this: just when they think they have the answers, I change the culture. I’ll see you here next week.”

You can watch the return below.

It’s should be noted that this is a FOX production so Punk is working for FOX and not WWE. At present there are no plans for him to wrestle, he is strictly a special contributor and analyst.

That said it doesn’t seem Seth Rollins got the message because he issued the below challenge on Twitter a few hours after the appearance.

The timing is very interesting with Punk appearing the week following disastrous viewing figures with only 49,000 people watching the premiere. It’s possible that Punk joining the show was a response to that, although that is just speculation at present.

As the saying goes “history is written by the victors” and that was certainly in evidence on last night’s “Table For 3” with Shane McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and Bruce Prichard.

In the clip shared by WWE’s Twitter account, it is stated nobody other than John Laurinaitis and WCW’s lawyers knew about the sale of WCW to WWE before Shane McMahon made the announcement to the wrestlers and WCW employees before Nitro.

The only problem with that is it was completely public days beforehand. WWE had even issued a press release the prior Friday which is still available on their website.

It was also the lead story on WCW’s official website and was the main topic of conversation on Dave Meltzer’s popular Eyada show.

WCW employees and wrestlers didn’t know what their futures were, but to say they didn’t know about the sale is disingenuous.

So please remember when you watch WWE historical shows they are strictly for entertainment purposes.

Jorge Arias who stood in for the original, and then officially replaced Místico/Carístico as Sin Cara has requested his release from WWE.

He posted the below on Twitter in Spanish which says he feels he is not valued as an athlete or a talent and after waiting patiently he is not going to get an opportunity. He also believes the best years of his career are yet to come.

It is believed WWE is not currently issuing releases as both Luke Harper and Mike Kanellis have asked for their releases previously and been declined.

It should be noted that Arias would be unable to wrestle as Sin Cara anywhere else as it is a WWE owned gimmick. If they wanted they could put someone else under the mask, but they’d likely have to visit a tattoo parlor to make it believable.

Excalibur and Jimmy Havoc got into an altercation in public at Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, where they were celebrating at Tony Schiavone’s Birthday.

Witnesses said that Havoc was very drunk and tried to punch Excalibur but missed. Excalibur subsequently choked him until security intervened. Tony Khan was in attendance and said to have witnessed the incident.

The pair would end up outside, and Havoc threw his phone at Excalibur, again missing and it smashed against the wall. Security would separate the pair again.

We understand both have spoken today and cleared the air.
