We reported early that Michelle McCool was unhappy that WWE.com left her out of their greatest women to capture a championship in the WWE gallery. After she tweeted about her snub WWE.com, would add the team LayCool as number 46, then number 44, before later updating the gallery completely and including McCool individually at number 5. That though hasn’t satisfied her husband, The Undertaker, and he would post his first tweet since September 2019, which you can read below. Imagine being the person that initially created that gallery and forgot McCool. They now have pissed off The Undertaker, and have probably been yelled at multiple times today. It might be time for them to update their resume and LinkedIn.

Season 1 of “Dark Side of the Ring” was Viceland’s big hit for the channel, being the channel’s most-watched ever show. The first season featured Bruiser Brody’s murder, the Montreal Screwjob, Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth, the death of Gino Hernandez, Fabulous Moolah, and the Von Erich’s.

It’s now been confirmed that season 2 will premiere with a two-hour Chris Benoit episode on Tuesday, March 24, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Other topics will include The Road Warriors, New Jack, the death of Nancy Argentino, David Schultz, Dino Bravo, Herb Abrams, and the Brawl For All.

Chris Jericho is narrating the series, taking over from Mick Foley and Dutch Mantell, who hosted season 1.

You can view the trailer for the upcoming season below.

Michelle McCool, the wife of The Undertaker, had a very successful WWE career after initially being a participant in the 2004 Diva Search. She would end up becoming a four-time champion, including being the inaugural WWE Divas Champion, and would unify the title with the WWE Women’s Championship at Night of Champions in 2010. She’d ostensibly retire in 2011 but would come back in 2018 to take part in the Women’s Royal Rumble, eliminating 5 other opponents. Her last appearance would come later that year at WWE’s all-women pay-per-view, Evolution in a Battle Royal.

So with all those achievements, you’d think she’d be held in high regard with the company, but seemingly not by WWE.com as they excluded her from their greatest women to capture a championship in WWE gallery. A frustrated McCool would go on to tweet about it, as you can see below.

Sometime after her tweet, WWE would add her team of LayCool to the list at number 46 and then later move them up to 44 apparently acknowledging their mistake. While it isn’t likely anyone with any power in WWE put the list together of who to include, you can understand McCool’s disappointment at being snubbed when you consider Eve Torres, Carmella, Candice Michelle, and Alicia Fox were all included.

It will now be interesting to see if any further amendments are made as her tweet gets more retweets.

WWE tried to keep Matt Hardy by offering him a new contract, but he rejected it and is now officially a free agent. WWE would though post a nice statement on WWE.com on him leaving the promotion, which you can read below.

Matt Hardy’s contract with WWE has expired.

A trailblazer throughout his 19-year WWE career, Matt and his brother Jeff pioneered the first tag team Ladder and TLC Matches in WWE, stealing the show at WrestleMania on several occasions. Matt, who competed in his first WWE match in 1994, captured nine tag team titles with Jeff, in addition to two other reigns with MVP and Bray Wyatt.

He is also a former ECW, United States, European, Cruiserweight and Hardcore champion, and he won the Fifth Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34.

But Matt is perhaps most revered for the uncanny connection he has cultivated with the WWE Universe over the years, even as his character has transformed. From a gravity-defying daredevil willing to take any and all risks to becoming one of the most eccentric personas ever seen as “Woken” Matt Hardy, all incarnations had one thing in common — the adoration of WWE fans.

WWE thanks Matt Hardy for his contributions to sports-entertainment and the WWE Universe and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.WWE.com

Hardy had been used on and off throughout 2019, and then was written off WWE television after being assaulted by Randy Orton two weeks running on Raw.

The speculation is that Matt Hardt will sign with AEW, and could debut as soon as this upcoming Wednesday.

During Saturday night’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view Cody Rhodes showed off his new neck tattoo to the world. The feedback online has been mostly unfavorable, but surprisingly his own wife is also not a fan of it.

Brandi Rhodes would say at the post-event press conference:

I’m the one person that doesn’t like the neck tattoo, I don’t like it, I’ve said it, there it is. I know a lot of wives like to be really hands-on, my husband makes his own decisions, he’s allowed to make his own decisions. So if I decided to do something crazy, he can just let me make my own decisions.Brandi Rhodes

You can see the tattoo in more detail below, and make your own opinion if it was a good choice or not.

Last Night’s SmackDown saw a 9% week on week increase in viewership. The show averaged 2.717 million viewers. This was the highest number the show has done this year and highest since week two of SmackDown moving to FOX.

The increase will principally be down to the return of John Cena, which was promoted in advance by WWE. There will also have been some fans tuning in to see the followup from Goldberg winning the Universal Championship at Super Showdown the day before.

The big angles on the show were setting up SmackDown’s two big WrestleMania matches.

The first was Goldberg starting the show and saying it wasn’t about who was last, but who was next. At this point, Roman Reigns came down and said he was next, and the pair had a staredown. Reigns still needs to win the Elimination Chamber match at the upcoming PPV, but at this point, it seems a foregone conclusion.

The second angle was Cena saying WrestleMania spots should be earned and not demanded, and he didn’t know when he’d be back. As he was leaving and on the ramp, the lights went out, and The Fiend appeared and pointed to the WrestleMania sign. Cena tipped his cap at The Fiend, and the match at WrestleMania was set.

Booker T is suing Activision Publishing, Activision Blizzard, and Major League Gaming Corp due to him feeling the character David “Prophet” Wilkes in Call Of Duty: Black Ops is based off his G.I. Bro character that he used on the independents, WCW, and a comic book. Activision had attempted to get the case, filed in 2019 dismissed, but Judge Robert Schroeder has said:

Because a side-by-side comparison of the works identified in Plaintiff’s complaint are sufficiently similar to plausibly allege striking similarity, Plaintiff has adequately pleaded copying.Judge Robert Schroeder

The case will proceed, and ruling in Booker T’s favor could affect the Call Of Duty: Black Ops series. We will keep you updated you on Web Is Jericho.

Unrelated to this lawsuit, Activision is being sued by AM General, the manufacturer of the Humvee, for trademark infringement, due to including the vehicle in Call of Duty video games.

This isn’t the first lawsuit involving a wrestler and video game. In July 2003, Maxx Payne (Man Mountain Rock in WWF) sued Rockstar Games, 3D Realms, Gathering of Developers, and Remedy Entertainment for stealing his name for the video game “Max Pain.” He wanted $10 million but ended up settling out of court.

AEW has confirmed today through a press release that “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer has signed a multi-year deal with the promotion. Tony Khan, President, and CEO of AEW said of the signing:

Lance Archer is explosive, dynamic, and unpredictable, making him perfect for AEW. He’s made his mark in every corner of the world. He’s brutal, colorful, and will be a factor the minute he steps into the ring.Tony Khan

The 42-year-old Archer has wrestled for TNA as “Dallas” and “Lance Hoyt,” where he was an NWA World Tag Team Champion twice with Kid Kash. He briefly worked as “Vance Archer” in WWE on their ECW brand and on SmackDown before competing in Japan as “Lance Archer” for both New Japan and NOAH, where he was a 2x GHC Tag Team Champion and 3 x IWGP Tag Team Champion all with Davey Boy Smith Jr.

His biggest title win was defeating Juice Robinson for the vacated IWGP United States Championship after Jon Moxley was unable to defend the title due to bad weather preventing him from traveling. He would go on to lose the title to Jon Moxley in a Texas Death match at Wrestle Kingdom 14 on January 4, 2020.

The WWE Network’s latest original series is on the Ruthless Aggression Era, with episode 3 focusing on the Evolution stable made up of Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Batista. In the episode, it’s discussed that following an injury to Batista, WWE contemplated replacing him with Mark Jindrak. They went as far as to film vignettes with Jindrak, but Triple H would ultimately say he didn’t want Jindrak in the group because he didn’t take the business seriously and did not fit the group. Instead, they waited for Batista to return from injury, and the rest is history.

Now Jindrak has taken to Twitter to challenge Triple H to a match at WrestleMania.

While Jindrak’s WWE career did fizzle out, he would go on to have success wrestling as Marco Corleone in Mexico for CMLL. He would become their world champion in 2017 and appearing in numerous television shows in Mexico.

WWE.com has confirmed Samoa Joe has been suspended for his first wellness violation.

In theory, he would be back in time for WrestleMania but is currently out injured at present after suffering a concussion after taking a bad bump while filming a WWE commercial.

In what would be a weird coincidence, earlier this month @WrestleVotes tweeted that someone from Southern California had failed a wellness test, and followed up with a picture of Samoa Joe. Joe would go on to wrestle three times since this was tweeted, so it seemed that is was just typical internet rumors, but potentially it could mean Joe did fail earlier in February, and WWE decided to withhold the news for three weeks. It’s WWE prerogative to write someone out of storylines at their convenience, but three weeks feels excessive.

Joe’s suspension is the fourth in WWE this year following Andrade, Primo, and Robert Roode.

As previously reported, WWE is not happy with Vickie Guerrero working with AEW. She did guest commentary on the December 11 edition of Dark and was also in attendance on Chris Jericho’s cruise. They’ve stopped their talent from appearing on her podcast, and Billy Graham has weighed in condemning Vince McMahon as “the single most evil human being walking the face of the earth” on his personal Facebook page.

Billy Graham has had a love-hate relationship with Vince McMahon for many years, loving him when he is part of the WWE, and hating him when not.

Billy Graham famously lied about Vince McMahon’s right-hand man Pat Patterson on The Phil Donahue Show in 1992, claiming he was involved in the molestation of young boys. Despite apologizing to Patterson years later, he would not be forgiven by him but would make up with McMahon. He would defend Vince McMahon and WWE following the deaths of Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit, but would later declare his Hall of Fame ring as meaningless following his $2,000 a month consultancy contract not being renewed and WWE attempting to stop him using the “Superstar Billy Graham” name. He would later sign a Legends deal in 2015, but when that expired, he began scrutinizing Vince McMahan and WWE again.

Chris Jericho jokingly said that Jay and Silent Bob were the first casualties of the Wednesday Night Wars, but there is nothing funny about the second.

Vickie Guerrero has revealed on her “Excuse Me: The Vickie Guerrero Show” podcast that WWE has stopped their talent from appearing on her shows due to her appearance for All Elite Wrestling back in December. She did guest commentary on the December 11 edition of Dark in Texas, and that has apparently angered WWE, the promotion where she was SmackDown’s most despised antagonist as General Manager.

She told her guest David Benoit that:

I have the podcast, and I had asked to interview some Superstars for, and they found out I went to AEW, and they don’t even talk to me, between me and you, they didn’t call me for two years. I haven’t heard from them – what did they expect me to do? Just to sit here and wait for them to call so I could do some work?Vickie Guerrero
When someone told me I couldn’t interview the Superstars because I went to AEW, I was just like, ‘Wow, They’re gonna be like that.’Vickie Guerrero

Vickie Guerero’s last appearance for WWE came in 2018 when in January, she briefly competed in the first women’s Royal Rumble match and again in October for the 1000th episode of Smackdown.
