Keith Lee won the NXT Championship from Adam Cole in July at NXT’s Great American Bash event. The match’s result got out after another NXT wrestler posted a photo on Instagram of Keith Lee celebrating in the ring. Despite quickly deleting it, it was screenshot and shared on social media.
Surprisingly, WWE has potentially spoiled another NXT Championship match result, as WWE’s social media team posted an advertisement early. The ad in question promoted title belts at 20% off and featured Karrion Kross’ photo with the NXT Championship draped over his shoulder. The post was quickly deleted, but again numerous screenshots were taken and shared as you can see below.

If Karrion Kross does win the NXT Championship at Saturday’s NXT TakeOver event, it will show how highly WWE regard him and make Keith Lee almost a transitional champion. Kross only debuted in April, and while undefeated, he has only wrestled six matches for NXT.
Ring of Honor is preparing to tape two months of television in Baltimore, Maryland. It will be the companies first shows since March, and among the wrestlers in attendance is EC3, who is expected to debut.
He previously teased joining ROH after his release from WWE, but after returning to Impact Wrestling at Slammiversary in a video at the end of the show, that appeared not to be happening.
Impact Wrestling will have had to approved EC3’s appearance in ROH, and are seemingly open to their talent to wrestle for rival promotions they don’t have working relationships with. Impact Wrestling is also allowing recently signed Gallows and Anderson to wrestle for New Japan in the future.
Renee Young, who has been with WWE since October 2012, will soon be departing the company. It’s understood that last week she informed WWE management, and is now working her notice period.
Initially, she worked as a pre-show host and backstage interviewer, before going on she would go on to work as a color commentator on NXT, Raw, and SmackDown. She would also host WWE Backstage, which was recently canceled.
As Renee is the wife of AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, speculation has already begun on social media, that she could wind up with him working for All Elite Wrestling. Although considering she is such highly regarded broadcaster, it is just as likely she could be heading to a different sport altogether.
Renee Young leaving is a huge loss to WWE and will be a massive gain for whoever she ends up working for.

Goldberg wrestled twice this year for WWE. The first match was in February at Super ShowDown when he won the Universal Championship by defeating The Fiend. The second time was at WrestleMania 36, where he dropped the belt to Braun Strowman. It was thought that could have have been the end of WWE’s time with WWE, but he has revealed in an interview with The Pop Culture Show that he signed a three-year deal, so has two-years remaining.
My WWE commitment is still going strong. I’m 53, I never would have imagined it, especially making fun of Flair for doing it in his early forties.Bill Goldberg
So while we won’t be seeing any more Goldberg matches in 2020, fans will be pleased to know they’ve at least four more matches enjoy. One of them might be the match against Roman Reigns that Vince McMahon originally wanted for WrestleMania 35.
Velveteen Dream returned to NXT last Wednesday having been on a two-month hiatus. This return caused social media uproar due to the serious allegations made against him, which many fans felt needed to be thoroughly investigated. It should be noted that Patrick Clark Jr. (Dream’s real name) has denied all accusations.
Now in an interview with CBSsports.com, Triple H has stated that WWE did investigate the accusations and found no evidence, and the reason Dream was off television was because he was involved in a car accident.
Once he was medically cleared to be able to return to the ring from his car accident, we continued forward the way we did. We looked into what was there and we didn’t find anything.Triple H
In his return, Dream lost to Cameron Grimes in a triple threat match, also involving Kushida, then afterward, he turned heel by attacking Kushisa. He is now booked to wrestle Finn Balor this week in a match where the winner earns a spot int he ladder match at NXT TakeOver XXX for the currently vacated NXT North American Championship.
WWE is moving Raw and SmackDown out of Performace Center, and instead will be taping at The Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The venue is best known as the home of the NBA’s Orlando Magic, and if fans could attend would hold over 18,000.
As part of the move, WWE is building the “WWE ThunderDome,” which will feature video boards, pyro, smoke, lasers, drone cameras, cutting-edge graphics, and a roof to project content. As with the Performance Center tapings, The Amway Center will be closed sets with only essential personnel in attendance. However, Kevin Dunn, who has been Executive Vice President of Television Production since June 2003, confirmed to SI.com, they will also have virtual fans.
We may have fans for certain entrances, standing up and cheering for the typical babyfaces. But someone like Bray Wyatt, who is so character-driven, the entire Amway Arena will be one big Fiend-dom. That’s our opportunity to be different from sports, where we can present these larger-than-life characters uniquely.Kevin Dunn
Below are some leaked photos showing the construction underway and give an idea of the scale.
WWE is testing the ThunderDome on Wednesday and Thursday and goes live on Friday with SmackDown and then SummerSlam, Raw, SmackDown, Payback, and Raw. At present, WWE has only confirmed their schedule to the end of August, but it’s understood they have an agreement to use the Amway Center until October 30th.
Fans that want to reserve a virtual seat will be able to do so from tonight via WWEThunderDome.com.

Matt Cardona only agreed to five dates when he joined AEW, seemingly wanting to test out if the promotion was a good fit for him. Speaking to Bro Bible’s “Not About Wrestling” YouTube show, he told them that he has loved his time with AEW and wants to remain with the company.
You know, the past two weeks I was there, I loved it. It was great. You know, it was weird being like the new kid in school. You’re meeting all these new friends and stuff like that, but you know, the reception online has been great. Couple of haters, whatever, it’s life, gonna happen, but I was happy with my performance, and I can’t wait to do more with them. Matt Cardona
Cardona made his debut in AEW in July after being released from WWE in April. He saved longtime friend Cody Rhodes from an attack from Dark Order members Alex Reynolds and John Silver, and the following week made his in-ring debut he teaming with Cody defeating Reynolds and Silver.
