Matt Cardona previously revealed that he owned a rare variation of an LJN Miss Elizabeth figure during a YouTube video. Apparently, the sculptures made some versions that were quite graphic for their own amusement. Over the years, a few have become available to purchase, and now one of them has come up for sale on eBay with a $40,000 asking price. This seems an absurd price for something that isn’t even a genuine action figure as it is made of resin. However, Matt Cardona sold his for a reported $45,000 last year, so this one could be seen as a bargain. You can read the full description below.
Item was purchased directly from a former LJN employee who provided their own letter of authenticity upon request. Furthermore the item was sent off to AFA for a thorough cleaning, inspection as well proof of it’s legitimacy. Because the item is heavier in nature and is a hard cast resin figure, it is CGA policy to actually NOT grade this figure as during shipment the item is likely to bang around and get scuffed up within the case and any supports to break loose. CGA had provided a customized case that has a sliding rear panel. This prototype can be removed and held easily within seconds of accessing case. This actually then provides the buyer a rare and unique privilege of owning this true piece of art, history and the beginning stages of one the earliest wrestling figures that started it all. Figure will be shipped out of the case along with an original Certificate of Authenticity from CIB. eBay seller drewnikj
It certainly appears the toymakers at LJN had a lot of free time on their hands in the 80s, so it makes you wonder what other bizarre prototypes exist. Perhaps someday, an unkilted Roddy Piper or Hillbilly Jim without his overalls will hit the collectors market.

Edward Annis, known professionally as Teddy Hart, is currently being held at the Tarrant County Correction Center in Fort Worth, Texas, following an arrest on February 10th. Records show he is being held for injuring a child/elderly/disabled person, evading arrest with a vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance. As these are the same charges he has been arrested for previously, it would seemingly indicate a parole violation.

Hart has had legal issues dating back to 2014, however, his life really spiraled out of control in 2020. In February 2020, he was arrested in Virginia and charged with possession of a schedule III substance with the intent to sell or distribute. He’d be arrested the following month for violating the conditions of his bail by not staying under house arrest. Less than a month later, he was arrested again after being accused of strangling his on-again/off-again girlfriend, Maria Maniac, but these charges were later dropped. In October, he was arrested for injuring a child/elderly/disabled person, evading arrest, and possessing a controlled substance, which is believed what his latest detention is linked to.

Hart is the son of Georgia Hart of the famous Hart family and was expected to become a star in the industry. He was signed to WWE aged 18 but was fired due to attitude problems. A few years later, WWE would give him another chance and he wrestled for their developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling but would get released again. Since then, he has wrestled on the independent circuit and appeared for ROH, AAA, and MLW. He was in the middle of a push in Major League Wrestling last year as their Middleweight Champion but was let out of his deal shortly after dropping the title for speculated disciplinary issues. His previous wrestling appearance before this arrest was bac in December for Juggalo Championship Wrestling.

Recently, WWE producer D-Von Dudley revealed during a Cameo video that he was in Los Angles. He was there to choreograph an Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair fight scene for an upcoming Punky Brewster revival episode. Now, two images from the episode showing both wrestlers in action have been released, seemingly depicting a meet and greet going awry. You can check them out below.

Last year NBCUniversal announced that they were bringing the 80s cult-classic back with its original star Soleil Moon Frye and adding Freddie Prinze Jr. The original Punky Brewster series was about a young girl abandoned by her parents who ended up being raised by a foster parent and ran for a total of 88 episodes. Considering WWE has agreed to a $1 billion licensing agreement with the streaming service, it makes perfect sense to include two of their most prominent stars in the sitcom’s revival. All ten-episodes from the new season are set to air on Peacock from February 25th.

Carlito returned to WWE during the Royal Rumble match last month and looked to be in the best shape of his life. He’d last a respectable 8:26 minutes, and the next night he wrestled his first match on Raw in more than a decade when teaming with Jeff Hardy to defeat Elias and Jaxson Ryker. Many fans believed it was a foregone conclusion that he would soon rejoin WWE full-time, considering how good he looked both physically and in the ring.

However, it now appears WWE hasn’t made him an offer, as speaking to Joe Lowry, Carlito would say, “right now, I’m on my own. I’m just open to whatever comes my way.” He’d also answer when asked about AEW, “I’m open to whatever man. Whatever great idea is out there, I’m willing to listen and see if I fit in there somehow.

The former Intercontinental, United States, and Tag Team Champion hasn’t worked for a major promotion since departing WWE back in 2010. He’d refuse to attend rehab, following a violation of WWE’s Wellness Violation, instead worked for his father’s promotion in Puerto Rico and wrestling on independent shows.

Last night MVP, along with RAW Tag Team Champions Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, lost to Riddle and Lucha House Party. MVP took a bump off the apron during the match, and when he got into the ring shortly afterward, his knee appeared to give way. He would battle while limping on and seemingly complete the match as planned. Although off-camera, he was given help getting to the back.

Despite this, MVP did appear on WWE’s post-Raw show RAW Talk but with crutches. He later posted a photo of the crutches along with the caption “I’m uh po’ some Robitussin on it…” confirming the injury is legit. As of writing, it isn’t known how severe the damage to his knee is, although MVP is traveling this morning to see Jeffrey R. Dugas, MD. He is a surgeon who specializes in orthopedic sports injuries and has previously operated on Finn Bálor and Braun Strowman.

It’s been a remarked 13 months for MVP, who was a surprise entrant in the 2020 Royal Rumble match. He’d compete the following night on Raw, losing to Rey Mysterio, which he believed to have been his final matches. However, WWE brought him back to be a backstage producer and host his “VIP Lounge” segment. Shortly afterward, he aligned himself with Bobby Lashley and went on to sign a multi-year contract with the company aged 46.

Lacey Evans is currently involved in an angle where she is in a relationship with Ric Flair and feuding with his daughter Charlotte. On last night’s Raw, she would team with Peyton Royce against Charlotte and Asuka, however, the match would seemingly end in a no-contest when Evans exited the match. Evans would pick up a mic and announced she was pregnant. This was followed by Ric celebrating in typical Flair style and saying, “call me daddy!” You can watch this below.

While at the time it appeared this was just progressing the storyline in typical soap opera fashion, it has now been confirmed that Evans is legitimately pregnant. The wrestler who already has one daughter with her husband will not compete against Asuka for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at Elimination Chamber as planned. How WWE proceeds with Evans and Flair’s angle remains to be seen, they could quietly drop it altogether. Although as they’ve acknowledged the real-life situation on television, they may let it play out until Evans goes on maternity leave and possibly beyond.

Social media is a big business nowadays for celebrities who can earn thousands for a single sponsored tweet or post. Now though, according to Wrestling Inc, WWE is clamping down on talents doing this. The company will first issue a warning, followed by a fine and then suspension for repeated violations. It’s believed that naming any third-party businesses, person, brand, or even charity qualifies as a violation.

This appears to be the next step in WWE’s attempt to control talent, who last year had to give up control of their Twitch and Cameo accounts despite being classed as independent contractors. Zelina Vega fought this at the time and ended up getting released from her contract for opening an Only Fans. While possibly unrelated, her husband Aleister Black hasn’t wrestled for the WWE since the October 12th, 2020 episode of Raw, seemingly in the dog house for his wife’s actions.

Last week rapper and actor Bow Wow tweeted that he plans to follow his childhood dream of being a WWE wrestler once he releases his upcoming album Before 30. Any celebrity attention excites WWE, and they quickly posted an article about it on WWE.com. Now it appears that the Like Mike star was serious, as he has revealed he will train at Rikishi’s Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy based out of Los Angeles, which includes both Miro and Vanessa Borne as Alumni.

WWE is currently capitalizing on another celebrities popularity in Bad Bunny’s, who has also been a wrestling fan since childhood. The Puerto Rican rapper has been spending time at the WWE Performance Center in preparation for a match at WrestleMania 37. While not confirmed, the likely matchup will be him teaming with Damian Priest vs. Miz and Morrison, as it’s doubtful WWE would have him wrestle a singles match.

Most fans would have expected Mike Bennett to have spent Valentine’s Day with his beautiful wife, Maria Kanellis. However, the former WWE wrestler who is currently in the process of rebuilding his career has shared on Twitter he actually worked an indie show instead. To get to the venue in Oklahoma, Bennett revealed he braved a blizzard, but sadly only 14 fans were able to attend. Despite this, Bennett still performed and didn’t let it get him down saying “Still gotta go. I love this shit.” ou can check out the entrance for his match and view the crowd for yourself below.

Along with his wife, Bennett was part of WWE’s mass cuts back in April 2020. He had actually requested his release before then, but WWE declined, instead of waiting until it suited them. Bennett recently returned to ROH, where he saw much of his career success and is clearly open to working independent wrestling shows. Hopefully, though, in this case, Bennett agreed to a booking fee upfront and wasn’t paid based on the gate.

During the pre-show for Sunday’s NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day, former Impact Wrestling Champion Eli Drake returned to the company. He’d trash talk the hosts and set the groundwork for his new gimmick. He’d also reveal that he is going by the name LA Knight which seemingly has come from the random NXT name generator. Later in the show, he was shown in William Regal’s office, signing his contract in the storyline. You watch his debut promo below.

[adthrive-in-post-video-player video-id=”c6VbnJWf” upload-date=”2021-02-15T14:32:40.000Z” name=”Eli Drake Crashes NXT TakeOver Pre-Show” description=”” player-type=”default” override-embed=”default”]

Following the show, Triple H would talk to members of the wrestling media and said he was a fan of Drake’s since he was first in the WWE system, and the time was right for him to come back. Drake had previously been signed to WWE between 2013 and 2014 but left due to clashing with then-head coach Bill Demott.

After his initial time with WWE came to an end, Drake would return to the independent circuit before joining Impact Wrestling. He’d win their World Championship and was also Tag Team Championship with Scott Steiner. However, despite being one of their top stars, he was abruptly fired in 2019. This was due to publicly speaking negatively about his booking and refusing to wrestle an intergender match with Tessa Blanchard despite the match having already been advertised. Later that year, he’d go on to sign an exclusive deal with Billy Corgan’s NWA in 2019, which was his home promotion before signing with WWE.

When AEW was officially announced, many fans were hoping CM Punk would sign with the promotion. Whenever a show was held in Chicago, rumors would spread that he was set to debut, but nothing ever happened. Seemingly Punk is happy mainly doing acting gigs now, and his appearances on WWE Backstage certainly make it appear more likely he’d return to WWE rather than AEW if he did decide to wrestle again. That said, Punk clearly follows the AEW product because on Twitter, he recently replied to a fan during a Q&A session asking him which AEW talent he’d most like to work with. The self-proclaimed Voice of The Voiceless would name Will Hobbs, Darby Allin, Brian Pillman Jr., Ricky Starks, and Jungle Boy.

Based on this, it appears Punk would rather work with the up and coming talent he hasn’t previously faced. While the big money in a CM Punk return would likely be against names like Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, or Cody Rhodes, seemingly they wouldn’t interest him as he worked with them in WWE. Of course, until Punk decides to wrestle again, who he would like to wrestle is a moot point.
