“Hey lads? Got some great news. We are all old as fuck for this reason … Jake The Snake Roberts has now been in AEW longer than his original WWF run. Dont forget to put your teeth in a glass before bed, Grandads.” – @IANdrewDiceClay
70-year-old Jake Roberts, real name Aurelian Smith Jr., debuted in 1975 and became a wrestling icon through his dark charisma and masterful psychology. He gained fame in territories such as the Mid-South and Georgia Championship Wrestling, winning early titles before becoming a true legend during his two WWE stints. He also competed in WCW, AAA, and ECW. Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, Roberts would go on to join AEW as a manager and advisor and is one of the few talents to have merchandise produced for both companies.
