In recent days, Michelle McCool has been on the receiving end of online fan criticism after a quote circulated in which she claimed to have revolutionized women’s wrestling and suggested this was why she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. However, McCool has now confirmed this is a fabricated quote by using the hashtag #sodumb and making it clear she never said those words, once again highlighting the constant online scrutiny she receives as The Undertaker’s wife.
46-year-old McCool left her career as a middle school teacher to pursue professional wrestling after entering the 2004 WWE Diva Search. From there, he debuted on SmackDown as a manager before becoming a full-time in-ring competitor. This led her to become the inaugural WWE Divas Champion in 2008, and the following year, she captured the WWE Women’s Championship, becoming the first woman to hold both titles simultaneously. Still, many fans remember her best for her time alongside Layla in the LayCool tag team.
