In more horrible news for wrestling fans, Hacksaw Jim Duggan has confirmed on his Facebook page that Lanny Poffo, best known as The Genius in WWE, has died. No cause of death was provided, and publicly the 68-year-old wasn’t known to have been in poor health.

Jim DugganWhile known as the brother of “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Poffo was an accomplished wrestler in his own right and worked in various territories before having his famous seven-year run in WWE as babyface Leaping Lanny and then heel The Genius. He additionally had a four-run in WCW, where he famously only wrestled once.
