AJ Styles has confirmed his plan to retire from the ring in 2026, driven by fear of underperforming and tarnishing his legacy. And now, during the latest Talk N’ Shop podcast, his long-term colleague and friend Karl Anderson has teased a potential WWE return for himself and Luke Gallows, saying, “AJ Styles’s story inside WWE is obviously not complete without the Good Brothers.

It’s easy, and it’s safe to say, AJ Styles’s story inside WWE is obviously not complete without the Good Brothers. If AJ goes to his final match, one-two-three, or his final appearance, and he leaves and takes his boots off, tells the fans worldwide that he’s leaving and there’s zero Good Brother involvement? I’m just saying, I feel like that would be very impossible. “That would mean if that happens inside that WWE ring, I would say AJ Styles is not finished. If there is some kind of deal struck and some kind of Good Brother involvement, there’s always a deal to be struck.”Karl Anderson

The Good Brothers collectively rose to fame in NJPW as Bullet Club enforcers alongside AJ Styles, winning three IWGP Tag Team titles. They subsequently reunited with Styles in WWE as The Club, and later The OC, backing him in major feuds and capturing the Raw Tag Team Championship twice. Therefore, given their relationship with the retiring star, both on-screen and behind the scenes, it would certainly be fitting to see them involved.
