The last few months have been tough for dog-loving wrestlers as Batista, Torrie Wilson, and Michin have all sadly disclosed the news that they’ve had to say goodbye to the much-loved pooches. And now joining them is former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, who has taken to Instagram to announce his adorable Yorkshire Terrier named Ruby has passed away.
2024 hasn’t been a great year for Mahal, whose real name is Yuvraj Dhesi, as he was let go from his dream job of working for WWE back in April. Since then, he has been rebuilding his career in the indies and has made notable appearances for GCW, MLPW, and AAA, although he currently doesn’t have a new full-time home promotion. Still, with AEW and TNA always open to bringing in new talents, perhaps 2025 could be the year Mahal’s career rebounds.
