In what appears to be quite a coup, independent wrestling promotion Game Changer Wrestling has announced that Jeff Hardy will be making his debut for the promotion on their My Name Is show coming up on Friday, August 4th. It isn’t known whether the AEW star will be wrestling, however, as it says making an appearance and no opponent was revealed, it seems likely he will be in a non-wrestling role. Nevertheless, it is noted he will be performing a live concert at the same venue, which should be a treat for his fans.
Hardy is currently off AEW television selling the effects of a 3:10 to Yuma double-team maneuver by Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn. However, this is being done to cover for the fact he is unable to enter Canada at present due to his criminal record. AEW’s next show in the United States is the July 19th episode of Dynamite at the TD Garden in Boston, so it will be interesting to see whether Jeff makes his return for revenge then.
