Most pro wrestlers love to meet fans, although sometimes it isn’t appropriate, such as when they are with their families or eating. However, based on comments made by multiple talents over the years, the most loathed time is when they are at the airport. And now, backing this up, CM Punk has taken to his Instagram Stories to remind fans that airports are not meet-and-greets and noted that involving children still doesn’t make this right.
While some genuine fans attend airports hoping to meet their heroes, it’s believed the vast majority are eBay sellers looking to cash in via autographed items. This is known because videos have been shared on social media showing wrestlers having action figures and photographs forced in front of them to sign, which sickened most fans. However, as long as people are prepared to purchase autographed items that have been acquired in this manner, it seems doubtful these sellers will change their methods.
