During this week’s episode of Raw, the seeds were set for AJ Lee’s return to the ring for a WrestleMania 41 match alongside her husband, CM Punk, against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. This occurred when Punk mentioned Lynch by name, asking her to “get your man,” referring to Rollins, leading to many assuming this was kicking off an intergender feud.
Subsequently, Lynch took to X to acknowledge this, saying, “I don’t think I’m the one who needs to get my man,” along with photos of Punk and Roxanne Perez, seemingly suggesting their pair could be more than just friends. However, Lynch’s deliberately provocative tweet has since been deleted, prompting speculation that Punk may have requested its deletion.
46-year-old Punk regularly attends the Performance Center, and it isn’t uncommon to see photos of him alongside Perez and many other talents on social media. And while some terminally online fans have suggested that the former ladies’ man may be getting too close to women on the NXT roster, there is absolutely no proof this is the case. Yet given these claims, Lynch’s tweet was ill-advised, so it’s probably for the best that it was removed.
