AJ Styles Addresses Latest Move-Jacking Drama

Following this week’s episode of Raw, controversy erupted on social media when AJ Styles and Dragon Lee executed a slick slingshot-style manoeuvre on Kofi Kingston, launching their opponent for Styles to finish with a devastating Styles Clash, a sequence deemed by some too similar to the Young Bucks’ spot where one brother catapults the opponent into the other’s Powerbomb, the key difference being the finishing move.

And while most fans ultimately didn’t care, Styles has now taken to X to address the allegation that he and Lee took the move, simply saying, “In pro wrestling you can’t claim moves.

In the past, Styles responded to fans accusing Will Ospreay of “stealing” the Styles Clash, saying it doesn’t bother him at all, clearly seeing it as a tribute, especially since the British star has long cited him as an influence. Still, some fans online believe they know better than the 48-year-old former WWE Champion, who is a longtime friend of The Young Bucks and has shared the ring with them in New Japan, ROH, and even CHIKARA.
