Earlier this year, it was reported that Lady Frost’s AEW/ROH deal was coming to an end after management decided not to renew it. And now, according to Fightful Select, her contract is scheduled to expire at midnight on April 1, after which she will officially enter free agency. Still, it isn’t all bad news for Frost, who last wrestled for the company in February, as the report added that multiple wrestling promotions have already expressed interest in booking the talented performer.
“Fightful Select has confirmed that Lady Frost’s AEW contract is set to end at midnight on April 1. Fightful reported that was the plan quite a while back, and it was reiterated today that she will become a free agent. We’re told that there are already companies interested in her.” – Fightful Select
41-year-old Frost, born Brittany Rae Steding, drew from her gymnastics background to enter wrestling in 2018, as Jamie Frost on WWE Raw, losing a quick squash match to Asuka. From there, she adopted the ring name Lady Frost and wrestled for TNA before joining AEW, and its sister promotion ROH, where she became a regular on HonorClub. Additionally, she worked for CMLL in Mexico through its relationship with AEW, a promotion that is potentially interested in using her as a free agent.
